This technical appendix outlines ERO’s approach to evaluating the implementation of the ‘Phones Away for the Day’ policy. It explains the questions we asked, who we engaged with, how we gathered information, and the methods we used to analyse, synthesise, and validate our findings. The technical appendix is set out in three parts. Part one, the technical notes and part two, the data collection tools, are together in a PDF file. Part three, the survey data tables, are in Excel workbooks.
